If you are taking this course in preparation for the PHR or SPHR exam, please confirm your eligibility to be a candidate for certification with the HR Certification Institute www.hrci.org before completing your registration.  HRCI requires 2 years of exempt level experience to be accepted as a candidate for certification.  Students within 1 year of graduation may take the exam but will not become certified until the experience requirement is met.  Any questions about qualifications/eligibility to take the exam should be directed to HRCI - www.hrci.org.  NIU does not assume responsibility for ensuring candidates are eligible to take the exam.
